Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Global Supply Chain Executive, Distribution to be based in Penang, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities:

• Check and code freight invoices, including sea, air, and truck shipments, against rates and shipping schedules.
• Spot check courier freight invoices against rates and ensure accuracy.
• Code invoices in Medius to cost centers and dimensions and forward freight costs to stakeholders for comparison.
• Create accrual lists for Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Generate a freight cost overview to provide a global comparison of freight versus collected freight.
• Manage return shipments bookings and coordinate pick-ups with forwarders based on requests.
• Provide notifications and confirmations to requestors, pick-up sites, and recipients.
• Update ERP system according to inbound lists and track containers to ensure timely arrivals.
• Maintain a damages and claim overview by registering claims and evaluating if they are insurance cases.
• Create statistics and reports to track distribution performance.
• Handle Proof of Delivery (POD) requests and follow up on shipment delays with courier forwarders.
   

Suggested candidate profile:

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years experience in supply chain distribution or logistics, preferably in the medical device sector.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (such as M3) and Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
