Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze COGS data globally, ensuring a clear understanding of COGS developments across various manufacturing sites.
- Work with teams across different sites to understand and communicate key cost drivers, supporting a consistent approach to managing COGS.
- Prepare and assist with reports on COGS developments, focusing on improvements driven by productivity initiatives and cost efficiencies.
- Assist in calculating and monitoring COGS for dual manufacturing products (e.g., Penang & Mexico) to ensure accurate product valuation based on actual manufacturing costs.
- Monitor key drivers impacting COGS (such as fluctuation in copper and silver prices, or supplier price changes) and assess their impact on overall costs.
- Support in enhance and streamline processes within the relevant area to ensure continue efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist Global Operation Finance team in the preparation of Strategic Financial Planning (SFP), budgeting, and forecasting by providing accurate data and insights on cost trends and projections.
- Analyze historical COGS trends to identify patterns and potential areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Possess degree in accounting or any others professional accounting qualification.
- 3-5 years' experience in business analysis, cost analysis, or finance, preferable in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle tasks independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills are required.
- Experience in financial data in a manufacturing environment and managing global data is an added advantage.
