Ambu is currently looking for a R&D Lab Engineer.
This position reports to the Section Manager for R&D Lab Engineer. If you are from medical device industry with experience in any R&D function, this position would be suitable for you.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish & sustain digitalize ecosystem in support of test equipment functionality, preventive maintenance monitoring, troubleshooting and calibration tracking.
- Coordinate with Requester and plan the Lab team resources for Lab Test Request assignment.
- Analysed data and developed Power BI dashboards to forecast case volumes, optimize operations, and track expenditures, case support, and employee training progress.
- Ability to leverage Microsoft Power Automate and Shell Script to streamline data collection, notifications, and updates for case support, inventory, and equipment usage.
- Designed and developed user-friendly Microsoft Power Apps for office and lab operations, including request, real-time monitoring, and equipment booking systems to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tracking.
Other supporting tasks:
- Support in costs, resources and time estimation required to implement the organisation’s annual R&D Lab goals and monitor the test equipment capability and capacity for project needs. Support to project needs.
- Support the test equipment functionality, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration coordination, purchasing and logistic activities.
- Support and manage ongoing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Support 3D Printing activity including AutoCAD design drawing.

- Minimum Bachelor degree in any engineering discipline
- Some years of experience in lab or medical industry
- Knowledge in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Shell Script
