Ambu is currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Pulmonology & ENT solutions team in Global R&D.

Key responsibilities 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop project plans, coordination & implementation of new product lines development according to New Product Development projects.
  • Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with New Product Development project management, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills and expertise are applied to each phase of the project to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines, risks, and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Prepare Investment application and ensure project stays on budget.
  • Monitor and optimize project progress, coordinate meetings, align with third party suppliers and develop related project management documentation to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project issues and risks are clearly communicated and escalated as appropriate.
  • Implement best-practice project management practices, applying learnings and continuous improvement principles as needed to ensure the highest quality of operations.
  • Ensure project team and projects documentation follow procedure and tools as described in Ambu Quality System and of relevant authorities.

Suggested candidate profile 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you: 

  • Hold a degree in engineering and have technical work experience that will support decision-making and challenges during the project 
  • Carry solid experience within Medical Device project management and come with a broad project management skillset and toolbox  
  • Are familiar with having a globally based project team and supplier base 
  • Are curious, open-minded and have great interpersonal skills 
  • Are committed, structured and have an intense sense of responsibility towards your work and your team members 
  • Possess strong leadership skills 
  • Have a certification in Project Management 
  • Experience with the development of Class II medical devices 

 

It is a requirement that you are fluent in oral and written English and effective communication.
