Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

Spare part management:                    

  • Managing spare parts inventory, ordering including parts send for rework. 
  • Coordinate and monitor all incoming and outgoing machine spare parts. 
  • Responsible for maintaining spare parts quality with identification of condition, proper handling and storage. 
  • Maintaining accuracy of spare parts inventory system including register new items or obsolete old ones.

Documentation:

  • Compile, archive and retrieval of maintenance records, ensure all records are done correctly according to GDP.

Machines basic troubleshooting and maintenance:

  • Carry out maintenance activities, both on the machines and offline parts servicing. 
  • Ensure that machines and equipment are set up and maintained for continues production of quality product.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and breakdowns and ensure that machines are repaired with minimum downtime.
  • Collaborate with  Shift technicians / Lead technicians to ensure all the above are carried out effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • At Least Certificate/Diploma in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment/ spare parts administration.
  • Candidates in other engineering fields will be considered if they have extensive work experience in machine maintenance work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Capable to identify industrial components, i.e. electrical, mechanical and consumables.
  • Ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
