We are currently seeking a Market Manager to grow our Cystoscopy and Lower Urinary Tract product lines. This person will be responsible for developing product and market strategies to optimize sales and profitability of these product lines, in accordance with marketing plan. You will execute market strategies to achieve product line revenue, developing a clear positioning and pricing strategy, creating efficient training and support tools to sales team, and identifying growth segments and opportunities.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop product and market strategies for input to marketing plan for Cystoscopy and Lower Urinary Tract markets.
  • Continuously monitor and report on portfolio performance including financial performance, key objective achievements, competitive landscape, and KPIs - and provide business reviews and insights to the Director of Marketing and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Lead Ambu’s brand positioning and ensure consistency in product design, marketing communications and tradeshows. 
  • Utilize and manage sales support tools targeting all key stakeholders for responsible product area.
  • Use business intelligence skills to evaluate market trends and develop segment penetration opportunities and targets.
  • Plan and manage new product launches.
  • Analyze and develop optimal market positioning and pricing.
  • Develop business cases for investment in marketing activities and new product development.
  • Develop market communication plan for product areas to ensure product and marketing messaging throughout all communication platforms.
  • Develop sales support tools targeting all key stake holders: Physician, Value Analysis, Purchasing etc.
  • Collaboration with sales management to evaluate and validate effectiveness of marketing strategies and programs.
  • Develop education and training programs for end users and salesforce.  
  • Develop KOL relationships to drive market immersion and engagement where necessary
  • Conduct market research to identify new clinical and market trends as well as unmet needs etc.
  • Evaluate product portfolio and gaps and provide input to R&D in program development
  • Ensure that budget targets are being met.
  • Provide input to supply chain for inventory forecasts
  • Travel up to 40%

 

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the field of medical devices
  • Urology experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems for business strategy
  • Experience supporting a direct salesforce
  • Proven experience with design, evaluation, validation of marketing strategies and programs
  • Demonstrated success with new product development and launches
  • Strong work ethic and initiative
  • Ability to manage large workflows and multiple projects at one time
  • Effectively build and maintain relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels
  • Successfully brings ideas, proposals, and business cases forward for consideration and drive resolutions as needed
  • Expertise with Microsoft office, especially Power Point and Excel
