The Financial Analyst will support the growing Endoscopy business with a highly productive sales organization. . This individual will support the FP&A Manager in owning the FP&A process for our Endoscopy product lines. This individual will support the forecast, budget and long-term planning process through collaborating with supply chain, sales and marketing to develop complex models aligning with company goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Assist in the development of financial models.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast and budget process.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis for Managers, Directors, and the Leadership team.
- Monitor and track orders, traced sales data, and invoice data to glean patterns and insights.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure inventory requirements for financial forecast, and proactively identify potential challenges.
- Analyze and interpret sales data
- Serve as the key business partner to support the commercial team’s short-term projects and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the on-going development of FP&A modeling for endoscopy business.
Qualifications /Experience:
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or relevant field of study required.
- 2-5 years of experience in Financial/Data analysis
- Strong analytical, financial control and reporting skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings clearly to leadership
- Strong overall communication skills: written, oral and presentation skills
- Experience using and creating complex financial models
- Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Tableau, Power Pivot, and/or Power BI experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills to ensure achievement of reporting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Initiative – able to work with limited direction
- Ability to adhere to 50/50 hybrid work schedule
