Join us as our new Corporate Communications & PR Consultant and become a key player in Ambu’s transformational growth journey.

 

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, you will form part of a global Centre of Excellence (consisting of four team members, including yourself), driving all Ambu’s internal and external communications. In your role, you will be the driving force behind Ambu’s external communications efforts, ensuring that our ambitions and progress are effectively communicated to our stakeholders and underscore our position as an industry leader. You will manage our PR activities, ensuring engaging and consistent messages and content across external channels, events, and publications. This includes engaging with journalists, creating press releases, and supporting our senior leadership for interviews and events. Moreover, you will have a lead role in the development of our annual report, as well as in the creation of engaging content for our website and social media channels.

 

On top of this, you will support our overall Corporate Communications agenda, ranging from writing stories for our intranet to orchestrating global town halls and other key internal events.

 

The role is based out of our HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Secure effective relationships with key media contacts, oversee press coverage, write press releases and manage media inquiries.
  • Monitor media trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and develop appropriate responses.
  • Drive external publication activities, such as our annual reporting cycle, social media posts and website content, ensuring focused and impactful messaging.
  • Provide advisory support to our senior leadership in terms of statements, Q&As and key messages for interviews and events.
  • Organise external and internal events, including annual general meetings, live-streamed global town hall sessions and global leadership summits.
  • Maintain strong relations with internal stakeholders across Ambu to secure relevant perspectives and aligned messaging in Ambu’s corporate positioning.
  • Engage in various core communications tasks, such as writing internal news stories, managing our website and intranet, conducting employer branding interviews, as well as other relevant responsibilities.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven work experience in Media Relations or PR within Corporate Communications, preferably from a similar industry.
  • Proven experience in media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists and senior leaders. In addition, experience in financial communications is a plus.
  • A strategic as well as a hands-on mindset and a proven ability to work independently and effectively on several projects at the same time.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for the role, given its both local and global context.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skillset, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of our global organisation.
  • Proficient with technology, for example, Microsoft 365 (incl. SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Teams), the Adobe package (incl. Photoshop) and Dynamic Web, to name a few.
