Key responsibilities  

 

As a Design Lead Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of camera and imaging technology for our endoscopic products. Whether you're driving technical excellence or collaborating across disciplines, your work will ensure our solutions meet user needs and elevate healthcare innovation. 

 

What you will do 

 

  • Discover and Define: Collaborate with marketing and project managers to deeply understand user needs and identify imaging solutions tailored to those requirements. 
  • Plan and Execute: Work closely with line managers, project managers, engineering teams and suppliers to define resources, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring seamless project execution. 
  • Communicate and Align: Foster clear, effective communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates, facilitating decision-making, and managing changes with agility. 
  • Lead by Example: Oversee the full design and development lifecycle—from initial concept to final execution—while ensuring technical and design excellence. 
  • Drive Innovation: Bring deep technical expertise to make critical design decisions, uphold project integrity, and push the boundaries of imaging technology. 

 

  
Qualifications  

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:  

  

  • Experience: 5+ years in system engineering or technical leadership in hardware, camera, or imaging product development. 
  • Expertise: Broad understanding of optical-mechanical components, including mechanics, optics, illumination, and electronics. Hands-on experience in mechanical design is a strong plus. 
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. 
  • Mindset: An innovative, user-centered approach with a passion for solving complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions.
