Then this might be your defining moment. We’re currently looking for an experienced Product Owner with a solid MedTech background to lead the Product Lifecycle Management activities for our marketed portfolio of endoscopy products!  

 

A position with global impact 

 

In this role, you will play a key role in driving the success of our GI & Urology products on the market by collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders, be involved within Life Cycle Management activities and take part in these being initiated and executed efficiently.  

 

You will join a stellar GI & Urology Solutions team of 11, consisting of Project Management professionals, Solution Architects and UX Researchers. Further so, you will be a part of a global team based across our Innovation sites in Ballerup, Denmark, Augsburg, Germany and Penang, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities 

 

Two days will most likely not look the same, however, you will be heavily involved within Program management of all life cycle activities for the GI & Urology endoscopy solutions including ideas intake, define project priority, evaluation on business cases, assessing possible solutions, resource allocation, and provide regular project update to stakeholders until project implementation. 

 

Furthermore, you will: 

 

  • Ensure close collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing to assess resource availability across full Ambu organization so LCM activities can be performed efficiently 

  • Prioritize and manage product backlogs, ensuring effective utilization of resources and timely delivery of features 

  • Ensure continuous alignment of committed activities across solution areas and ensure agility in resource allocation if critical conflict encountered 

  • Be part of the Solutions Team where you will share and support on best practice and lessons learned 

 

Suggested candidate profile 

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have: 

 

  • A technical background, preferably with a degree in mechanical Engineering or medical technology.  

  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Project manager or similar role in the medical device industry 

  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations) 

  • A good understanding of customer value creation.  

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

  • Experience with technical equipment.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders. 

  • Can communicate on a high level in English, both spoken and written. 

 

Furthermore, you are an excellent collaborator and able to positively engage with colleagues across departments and in different working time zone. You should expect 15-20 travel days per year.
