We are looking for a highly qualified student assistant to act as a proactive partner to the legal team and to various business functions of Ambu.

 

As student assistant at Ambu you will become a part of our global legal organization and work closely with both Danish and international colleagues. You will report to our Vice President, General Counsel. You can expect an average of 15-20 working hours per week, with mutual flexibility during exam seasons. Your primary working location will be our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark

 

Key responsibilities

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Handling filing and registration in business registries, legalization of documents including notarizations, and updating the document filings in our systems
  • Conduct legal research to support projects and initiatives
  • Update of GDPR compliance documentation
  • Update of training materials
  • Maintenance of Global Legal’s SharePoint sites
  • Support the legal team on general ad hoc legal tasks
  • Supporting all Ambu entities with various legal tasks, including corporate governance

 

 

Suggested candidate profile

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor/master law program or business law in a Danish university with a minimum of 2 years left of your studies
  • Thrive on handling a wide range of tasks and you manage to consistently deliver professional services
  • Have English and Danish skills at a professional level or above
  • Have a practical and proactive approach with a can-do attitude
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, and you know how to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Have great communication and collaboration skills, and
  • Have strong attention to detail

 

It is key that you by nature are committed, proactive and that you are able to identify and explore opportunities. You have high integrity and strong interpersonal skills. You will be given a lot of responsibility and opportunities to grow professionally and personally while working with qualified legal colleagues and stakeholders.  You have business acumen, the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience from previous position as legal student assistant is an advantage but not a requirement.
