A job with global impact

In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sale and valuation of Ambu’s products, by generating environmental impact evidence and contextualizing it. You will also contribute to informed corporate environmental decision-making, as well as evaluate Ambu’s current and future sustainability initiatives.

You will join the Global Health Economics & Market Access team, and report into the Head of the function, Rasmus Vinther Russell.

Key responsibilities

Two days will most likely not look the same, however, you will commonly:

  • Utilize environmental economics to assess trade-offs and determine the value of Ambu’s environmental initiatives, which will inform prioritization across the organization
  • Collaborate with the Commercial, Biosafety, R&D, and Sustainability teams on corporate sustainability initiatives
  • Drive environmental economics value communication for Sales, Marketing, and Market Access (including Marcom, sales materials, sales training, HTA, policy pitches, tenders, and group purchasing organizations)
  • Review and provide input on global sustainability communication
  • Contribute to environmental impact evidence strategy and plans
  • Participate in upstream and downstream evidence generation, considering the environmental impact and economic consequences of the full procedure or patient pathway

Suggested personality profile

Setting you up for success is one our cornerstones. In order to do so, we imagine you have a Master's degree in Sustainable Economy, or similair discipline - the most important for us is your curious and pragmatic nature, as well as genuine commitment to ensuring sustainability within the healthcare industry.

Further so, we imagine you bring:

  • Experience in applying economic theory and modelling to environmental issues
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and policies related to environmental protection, ideally across different regions, given the global aspect of the role
  • The ability to integrate environmental economics into commercial strategies
  • Strong collaboration skills, and the desire to work cross-departments, e.g. with colleagues in Health Economy, R&D and Marketing functions.
  • A willingness to explore new ideas and adapt to changing environmental contexts
  • Creativity and proactiveness in finding sustainable solutions
  • Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative methods
