Distribution/Shipping Coordinator

Then this might be your defining moment! Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Distribution or Shipping Coordinator to be based in Ballerup to join our growing Global Distribution team!

Key responsibilities

In the role you will have an opportunity to both learn and develop, whilst supporting a critical aspect of supplying our products to the market. You have a knack for performing operational tasks efficiently, whilst having the overview to challenge our ways of working and looking into potential optimizations. We are working on streamlining our processes so we are prepared to support Ambu’s future growth, and you will be a part of this journey.

Your main responsibilities will include below, depending on your background and experience:

· Daily coordination on orders with 3PL warehouse and forwarders, including bookings, prioritization and follow-up,

· Handling of delays, damages and returns with our providers

· Scheduling and coordination of inbound and outbound freight

· Creation of shipping documents and invoicing

· Entering stock adjustments and monitoring 3PL operations

· Executing on daily tasks, whilst ensuring best-practice and compliance in operations

You will be part of a team of 8, where we share the responsibility for operating our European freight and distribution centers effectively and efficiently.

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

· Have Shipping, Distribution or Warehousing knowledge

· Particularly previous experience working with 3PLs is an advantage

· Have a good understanding of ERP systems and operating in a global manufacturing organization

· Knowledge from healthcare and operating in a regulated environment is an advantage, but not a prerequisite

· Infor M3 experience is an advantage

· You work well with details and have a systematic approach to your daily work

· You can execute well on operational task

· As a person you thrive in helping others succeed

About the Department

Join the Global Distribution team under Global Supply Chain in Ambu A/S, which currently consists of 22 people. You will, however, be working in a global context, where your stakeholders are located across the world.
