We are seeking a visionary Director of Global Operations Processes to join our dynamic team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing operational processes across Ambu’s global footprint, which includes production sites, quality, procurement, and supply chain functions.

You will ensure the effective deployment of systems and processes that support end-to-end operational excellence while collaborating with key stakeholders to define the roadmap for Ambu’s future operational model.

You will play a pivotal role in:

  • Establishing guiding principles for ERP transformation to drive consistency, scalability and alignment.
  • Developing and forming Ambu’s future ERP operating model.
  • Simplifying operational processes to create efficiencies across functions and regions.
  • Developing a global process roadmap that balances standardization across operations with local requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the network

 

Working closely with cross-functional teams and the global leadership across Global Operations, you will drive alignment, automation, and innovation across all operational areas, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee and develop a team of process and system specialists dedicated to optimizing global operations workflows. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role as part of the GSC leadership team and serve as the key representative for Global Operations in Ambu’s overarching ERP transformation journey.

Your Main Responsibilities will include:

Systems Management

  • Lead the optimization and maintenance of systems supporting global operations, including production, supply chain, quality, and procurement.
  • Define and implement guiding principles for ERP transformation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration of operational systems across Ambu’s functional areas and global footprint.
  • Manage the end-to-end operations digital roadmap, ensuring delivery, value realization, and cost efficiencies.

 

Process Optimization and Standardization

  • Continuously improve operational processes in collaboration with teams across the global footprint, including production, quality, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Simplify processes across operations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures across all operational functions and regions.
  • Align operational processes with Ambu’s strategic goals, ensuring thorough documentation and consistent implementation.

 

Global and Local Alignment

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define a global roadmap that incorporates local requirements while driving standardization.
  • Partner with Ambu’s production sites to streamline manufacturing operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Work with quality teams to ensure operational processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.
  • Support and strengthen Global Supply Chain and Global Procurement initiatives to drive excellence in planning, sourcing, and global distribution, ensuring supply worldwide in a financially responsible and compliant manner.

 

Technology and Innovation

  • Design and drive the implementation of tools and systems that enhance efficiency and agility across operations, including ERP and digital platforms.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Lead automation and digitalization initiatives to incorporate cutting-edge technologies, such as AI and process intelligence tools.

 

Project Participation and Management

  • Collaborate in cross-functional projects, providing operational insights and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to quality systems and test management standards across all operational projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver operational requirements and achieve project milestones.

  • Significant experience in operations, with a comprehensive understanding of global production, quality, procurement, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven expertise in driving change and process improvements in multinational environments.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, particularly in cross-functional and cross-cultural settings.
  • A track record of leading transformational projects, especially ERP implementations or business process simplifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in operational software and tools (e.g., ERP systems) and experience with ERP implementation projects.
  • A collaborative and innovative mindset that effectively bridges operational needs with technological solutions.
  • Expertise in balancing global standardization with local requirements to ensure scalable and practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively, demonstrate cultural awareness, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
