Key responsibilities as Computer Vision Engineer 

In this role, you will be part of a team that explores computer vision and AI opportunities, from concept to final product. Your main responsibility will be to design and implement algorithms utilizing computer vision and deep learning. You should expect that a large part of your work will be centered around prototyping, data collection in the lab and getting the software to a production ready state.  

 

Your main tasks will be focused on, but not limited to: 

  • Algorithm development and implementation 

  • Data handling, processing and quality assurance 

  • Data management on servers and in databases, including cleanup 

  • Documentation 

 

Suggested candidate profile 
Setting you up for success is one of our cornerstones. In order to do so, we imagine, you have in-depth knowledge of deep learning theory and applications. This role is flexible and can be tailored for both recent graduates and experienced professionals. You are likely to succeed in this position if you have: 

  • An educational background within software, image processing (computer vision), physics, or similar fields 

  • 3-10 years of experience working with computer vision, e.g. camera calibration, stereo vision etc. 

  • Experience in real-time image processing e.g. denoising, sharpening etc. 

  • Experience in image quality analysis and with cameras, sensors, or lenses 

  • Experience with C++/python and Pytorch/Tensorflow and with using CUDA or other GPU-programming libraries 

  • Experience in G-streamer and Linux 

  • Accustomed to working with git or similar versioning tools 

 

You are highly motivated with a strong sense of detail. You have the ability to cross-collaborate with different teams. You have a proactive and flexible mind-set combined with the ability to plan, execute, and meet deadlines. You manage to focus, prioritize, and document your results. 

  

It is essential that you have excellent communication and English skills, both written and oral, and that you are willing to travel approximately 5-10 days per year when feasible and safe. In this position you are allowed to work from home up to 2 days per week.
