In this role, you will participate in designing and implementing AI technology to support Ambu’s visualization products. The focus will be on the clinical and data related tasks regarding user interaction, workflow understanding, data collection and annotation, clinical trials and implementation in products. The job function include responsibility of aligning with the clinical department, and responsibility of the clinical documentation.

 

Key responsibilities as AI Healthcare Data Specialist

 

At the heart of any AI application lies the data. In this role, you will join an AI development group that takes the AI from early idea to a mature product ready for implementation. Data will be your main responsibility, and you will play an essential role in optimizing performance by ensuring the highest quality of data and annotations. This means that you will help the team identify new AI applications, setup the clinical studies to collect the data, identify the label requirements, annotate and anonymize the data in coordination with a team of student assistants, and ensure clinical documentation. You will work closely within the AI development team and support the ongoing AI implementation project teams, and you will coordinate closely with other AI Healthcare Data specialists to synchronize the efforts across the different AI projects.

 

You will primarily... 

1.    Identify user needs and evaluate AI solutions to improve clinical workflow.

2.    Design, establish and drive clinical data collection studies

3.    Identify, define and communicate data and label needs/requirements
4.    Ensure data quality and control
5.    Clinical documentation package, including clinical risk related documentation

 

Experienced In Data Acquisition and Data Management


Skills can be earned in various ways, but in order to succeed in this role, we imagine you may hold a Master of Biomedical Engineering or a similar field. Ideally, you also have experience working with running clinical data acquisition studies including performing data annotation and annomyzation, but responsibilities of the role can be adjusted depending upon your expertise. 

 

As such the position is availible for both experienced and newly graduated. It is important that you have deep interest in AI and a desire to learn more. Desirable skills for this position are:

•    Knowledge of quality assurance in medtech

•    Experience working with medical personel

•    Experience in running clinical studies

•    General programming skillset – as a minimum in Python
•    General knowledge of deep learning theory and applications
•    Self-driven and motivated
•    Structured and independent working style
•    Finding answers to complex solutions
•    Good communication/ collaborative skills

 

As a person, you are highly motivated with a strong sense of detail. You have a proactive and flexible mind-set combined with the ability to plan, execute, and meet deadlines. You manage to focus, prioritize, and document the result of your work. Furthermore, using methods and tooling for a structured approach is also natural to you. You need to have excellent people and teaching skills, to support and guide the data annotation work.

 

It is essential that you have excellent communication and English skills, both written and oral, and that you are willing to travel approximately 15-20 days per year when feasible and safe.
