Business Development Manager (all genders)

Goals and purpose of the role:

  • Securing market share and placing a product in the Gastroentology market environment.
  • Development of new business areas, products, new customers and partners.
  • Further development of existing customers in the field of Gastroenterology.
  • Making forecasts and future trends.
  • Building strategic alliances / key opinion leader management.
  • Intensive processing of the assigned area.
  • Regular visits to customers and prospects.
  • Acquisition of new customers.
  • Informing the company about all circumstances that may be of importance for a successful conclusion of a contract
  • Passing on and processing of complaints in accordance with the duties of a medical device consultant (MPG)
  • Support of customers together with the extended field service team of Ambu.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful distribution of the product range in the assigned territory.
  • Immediate referral of orders.
  • Credit check of new customers (credit worthiness).
  • Good product and market knowledge.
  • Passing on relevant product and market information via the CRM system.
  • Regular analysis of set parameters in the sales process (e.g. sales, new customers, customer visits, demo, clinical testing, etc.) and initiation of actions to achieve set targets.

You´ll bring:

  • Several years of experience as a medical device consultant/business development manager.
  • You have experience in sales and have successfully completed commercial and/or medical training
  • You like to travel, work independently and bring along a high level of commitment
  • You enjoy dealing with people
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as English and German language skills
