Product Manager (Endoscopy Solutions)

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement commercial and product strategies grounded in market assessments and deep customer insights, with a clear focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with global marketing, local sales teams, and operational functions to maximize commercial impact and competitive positioning.
  • Lead new product launches end-to-end, including business case creation, resource planning, demand forecasting, pricing strategy, internal training, and promotional campaigns, ensuring measurable revenue contribution and market penetration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external business partners to strengthen market influence and accelerate adoption.
  • Manage resources and budgets effectively to optimize ROI and ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Provide technical and commercial support for products to sales teams and customers, enabling stronger sales performance and customer retention.
  • Organize and execute congresses and industry events to enhance product visibility, generate leads, and reinforce market leadership.
  • Create promotional materials aligned with the overall strategy, designed to support sales growth and competitive differentiation.
  • Oversee revenue, profitability, and market share management, ensuring achievement of business targets and long-term growth objectives.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in a marketing role within the medical device industry, with a track record of delivering revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Background in product management with hands-on involvement in product lifecycle activities, ensuring commercial viability and profitability at each stage.
  • Experience collaborating with global marketing teams, driving regional alignment and execution to maximize business outcomes and competitive advantage.
  • Ability to conduct market assessments and contribute to business case development, translating insights into actionable strategies that generate measurable commercial results.
  • Collaboration with Sales teams to design and execute go-to-market strategies, strengthen customer engagement, and achieve sustained revenue and profitability targets.
  • Demonstrated expertise/experience across diverse medical specialties, including Respiratory, Urology, Anesthesiology, and critical care in ICU/emergency settings.

Preferred Experience

  • Marketing experience with single-use (disposable) medical products.
  • Proven track record in marketing non-reimbursable medical devices.

Education / Language and other skills

  • BA/BSc degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • Japanese – native level
  • Business-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking), equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales reporting, market analytics, and revenue performance tracking.
