About the Role
In our team, we specialize in test and verification of medical devices. As a Test and Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in product development projects, from early prototype stages to the launch of new products. You will also be responsible for test and verification during updates of marketed products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global test and verification strategies for projects.
- Drive the identification and reuse of test methods while leading the development of new methods in both mechanical and electronic domains.
- Design innovative test setups and actively engage in hands-on laboratory work.
- Contribute to projects by:
- Planning test and verification activities globally.
- Reviewing requirements and specifications.
- Designing and developing test methods and protocols.
- Conducting informal and formal tests to assess performance during and after development.
- Collaborating with colleagues in Germany, Malaysia, and Denmark to establish and execute test procedures.
- Reporting test results and identifying defects.
- Coordinating with project stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Ensure documentation complies with FDA and ISO standards.
Suggested Candidate Profile
We know skills and experience can be gained in many ways, and the best fit cannot always be captured on paper. However, you are likely to succeed if you:
- Hold an engineering degree (preferably in medical or mechanical engineering).
- Have 3–5 years of experience in testing & verification
- Ideally bring experience with requirement and test management tools and cross-functional product development.
- Are familiar with statistical methods and tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Have experience with standards (e.g., IEC 60601).
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Are curious, eager to learn, and detail-oriented while keeping the big picture in mind.
- Communicate effectively in English (spoken and written) and ideally in German.
- Thrive in teamwork and dynamic environments.
- Are ready to travel approximately 10–20 days per year, primarily to our manufacturing site in Malaysia.
