Ambu is strengthening its global focus on external medical education, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Education Manager to help bring this ambition to life.
In this role, you will play a key part in building and driving Ambu’s global external medical education initiatives, helping elevate the quality and reach of our educational activities and opening new collaborations with external education partners and clinical experts.
You will join the Global Medical Affairs & Market Access team and work closely with Product Managers, Medical Advisors, Marketing Communications, and external clinicians to develop impactful educational programs that support healthcare professionals and strengthen Ambu’s engagement with the clinical community
About the Role
In this senior individual contributor role, you will own and drive Ambu’s global external medical education initiatives across our portfolio. You will translate our ambition to elevate medical education into structured programs, partnerships, and high-quality educational activities delivered globally.
The role sits at the intersection of clinical education, stakeholder engagement, and program execution, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery of impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for shaping and executing Ambu’s external medical education agenda, including:
Strategic Leadership
- Oversee the global external medical education plan across Ambu’s portfolio, in close collaboration with Product Managers.
- Identify and prioritize 3rd‑party medical education platforms and secure a strong and credible presence for Ambu.
- Map, identify, and develop collaboration opportunities with external partners to enable joint educational events.
Execution of Key Educational Activities
- Lead the planning and execution of Medical Education Advisory Boards with external advisors and KOLs.
- Manage the execution of external webinars, ensuring high-quality, relevant content and strong participant engagement.
- Coordinate the development of medical education assets together with Product and Communication Managers, and Medical team.
Speaker Bureau & External Engagements
- Build and coordinate a cross-portfolio Speaker Bureau, ensuring selected external experts are trained, aligned, and equipped to deliver high-quality educational content.
- Develop Ambu’s professional society engagement plan, ensuring strong, strategic relationships, while execution of individual initiatives is handled by relevant internal stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized person with a strong mix of experience in the healthcare industry, educational programs, and project and stakeholder management skills.
Ideal qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in medical education, medical affairs, clinical training, or similar roles in MedTech, Pharma, or healthcare.
- Proven experience managin advisory boards, webinars, or other structured educational activities.
- Strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to interact credibly with clinicians, scientific experts, and external partners.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution ability.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
