Senior Technical Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and maintain control system for manufacturing equipment (hardware and software).
  • Conduct engineering studies and provide engineering solutions for technical related issues.
  • Coordinate and support technical maintenance team in setting up production equipment.
  • Ensure equipment are well maintained and operate at optimum condition with minimum breakdown.                                      
  • Carry out process improvement activities (LEAN-OEE), cost saving activities and quality-productivity improvement activities. 
  • Coordinate and support validation engineer in carry out validation activities for new production equipment.  

 

Requirements:

 

  • Candidate must possess either a technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years related experience.
  • Experience and interest in programming (PLC).  
  • Hands on experience in electrical & electronics troubleshooting would be added advantage.
  • Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with all levels of employees.  
  • Knowledge of statistical process control, failure mode effect analysis, design of experiment, process validation, lean and six sigma tools will be an added advantage.                                             
  • Medical device experience and knowledge in ISO 13485 and 21CFR820 would be an added advantage.
