The Senior Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership, governance, and end-to-end program management for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a multi-year manufacturing transformation program.
The position is to integrate construction, manufacturing operations, product transfer, operational excellence, and business continuity into one coordinated program. The role ensures the successful construction and renovation of manufacturing facilities, optimization of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and relocation of manufacturing lines into the new manufacturing building while maintaining uninterrupted customer supply.

 

Responsibilities :-

Program Leadership
•    Lead the overall program from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, transfer, and program closure.
•    Establish program governance, decision-making framework, reporting structure, and communications.
•    Develop and maintain the integrated program incorporating construction, lines transfer, equipment installation, validation, and operational readiness.
•    Ensure program objectives align with Ambu business strategy and long-term manufacturing roadmap.

Construction and Facility Development
•    Provide executive oversight for construction and renovation activities.
•    Ensure construction activities meet program schedule, budget, quality, regulatory, safety, and operational requirements.
•    Coordinate facility readiness for manufacturing operations.
•    Ensure successful commissioning and handover of new manufacturing areas.

Manufacturing Line Relocation
•    Develop project plan for manufacturing line transfers into the new facility.
•    Coordinate production transfer plans with construction readiness and operational requirements.
•    Ensure manufacturing validation, equipment qualification, process qualification, and regulatory compliance are completed before production release.

Program Integration
•    Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams.
•    Resolve program dependencies and cross-functional issues.
•    Ensure alignment between project teams and leadership.

Stakeholder Management
•    Serve as the primary program interface with stakeholders.
•    Lead and provide program status reporting including schedule, budget, risks, milestones, and business impacts.

Risk and Change Management
•    Establish program risk management framework.
•    Identify program risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
•    Lead issue escalation and resolution.
•    Manage program scope changes through formal governance processes.

Project Cost Management
•    Monitor program expenditure against approved funding.
•    Ensure effective cost control and value realization.
•    Report program cost performance to leadership.

Quality, Regulatory and Compliance
•    Ensure program execution complies with applicable Quality Management System (QMS), corporate standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Ensure validation and qualification activities are completed in accordance with quality requirements.
•    Support inspection readiness throughout program execution.

Leadership
•    Provide leadership and direction to:
o    Construction Manager (Contractor)
o    Patient Monitoring Manager
o    Cross-functional project teams
o    Contractors
•    Foster collaboration, accountability, and program excellence.

 

Suggested profiles:

Education
•    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
•    Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management is preferred.
