Responsibilities:
- Ensure that machines and equipment are set up and maintained for continuous production of quality products.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance.
- Ensure that all machine records and documentation are completed according to procedures after repairs/maintenance have been carried out.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and breakdowns and ensure that machines are repaired with minimum downtime.
- Collaborate with shift technicians to ensure all the above are carried out effectively.
Requirements:
- At least Certificate/Diploma in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates in other engineering fields will be considered if they have extensive work experience in machine maintenance work in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of programming and PLCs.
- Ability to work on 12 hours rotating shifts.
- Ability to communicate in English is an added advantage.
