Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading and managing a team of accountants in GL team.
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Responsible for investigating technical issues derived from daily activities and others and follow up the issues until solved.
- Establish a good and comprehensive backup system in a team.
- Setting KPI and clear performance expectations for team members to measure progress toward team objectives, conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Responsible for all matters in relation to GL tasks in terms of reconciliation, identifying, investigating, and clearing errors in system to ensure smooth process flow.
- Responsible for system testing whenever there is new ERP roll out or changes.
- Support financial audit in Ambu Group which the areas are handled by Financial Shared Services.
- Responsible for other ad-hoc / upcoming new tasks to be given by A/S in Financial Shared Services.

- Candidates must possess at least a Professional Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- At least more than 5 years of working experience is required for this position.
- Individuals with accounting and finance background and working experience in MNC will be an advantage.
- Possess knowledge of accounting and international accounting standard.
- Possess strong people management skills.
- Possess strong financial analysis skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, Power BI etc is preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive and can-do attitude, an eye for detail and willingness to learn.
- Able to perform tasks assigned independently and act as a good team player in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Able to adapt to changing environments and work processes.
- Able to think positively and develop a growth mindset.
