We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead and coordinate activities related to upcoming regulatory changes under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). This role will be responsible for ensuring organizational readiness, cross-functional alignment, and timely implementation of all required changes across pacakging, labelling, sustainability and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for PPWR regulatory implementation
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., Regulatory Affairs, Packaging, Supply Chain, Sustainability, ESG, Procurement, Quality Management)
  • Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into actionable deliverables
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Drive decision-making and escalate issues where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable packaging, recycling, labeling, and reporting requirements
  • Track and report progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Key Deliverables

  • PPWR implementation roadmap
  • Execution plan with clear ownership and timelines
  • Regular project status reports
  • Documentation supporting regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in regulatory or compliance-driven environments
  • Strong knowledge of packaging regulations, sustainability, or environmental compliance (experience with PPWD or similar legislation highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives
  • Familiarity with EU regulatory processes andmedical devices standards including ISO 13485
