Employment Type:  Full-time
Req ID:  10382

Ambu is transforming and currently looking for a Global Process Owner – and this is your opportunity to drive that transformation at scale.

We are strengthening our global process governance and are building a Global Process Owner (GPO) layer across our core end-to-end business processes, spanning the full value chain—from early innovation and planning to delivery, finance, and compliance.

As part of this transformation, we are maturing our global processes, governance structures, and operating model to support continued growth and scalability.

A key element of this journey is the implementation and integration of core enterprise platforms such as ERP, QMS, and PLM, enabling more standardised and connected ways of working across Ambu.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Process ownership & strategy (primary focus)

  • Own and govern end-to-end global processes, including design, standards, and performance
  • Define and drive the strategic direction for process and capability development
  • Ensure alignment across functions, regions, and business units
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track process performance and maturity
  • Drive cross-functional decision-making and resolve process-related trade-offs

Process design & continuous improvement

  • Lead global process design initiatives and ensure standardisation where relevant
  • Identify and drive improvement opportunities across upstream and downstream dependencies
  • Ensure processes are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business strategy
  • Sponsor and prioritise process improvement initiatives across the organisation

Stakeholder engagement & governance

  • Act as a key member of the Design Authority and governance forums
  • Engage senior stakeholders across functions to drive alignment and adoption
  • Ensure effective communication and anchoring of process changes globally
  • Act as business workstream lead in ongoing transformation programs

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a highly technical related field. An MBA or advanced post-graduate degree is preferred.

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of cross-functional project management or operational leadership experience within complex, global manufacturing plants or complex logistics distribution environments.

  • ERP Legacy Upgrade: Proven track record of executing senior project management or track-lead responsibilities in at least two full-lifecycle, large-scale ERP implementations at a physical site/plant deployment level.

  • Regulated Industry Domain: Direct experience navigating highly regulated asset environments (such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Lifesciences, or Aerospace). Solid fluency in computer system validation (CSV), GxP compliance standards, and corporate quality management systems is highly desirable

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or certified ERP modular credentials are highly preferred. Formal certifications in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci) are considered a significant advantage.

  • Core Competencies & Professional Attributes

  • Cross-Functional Operational Acumen: Possesses deep clarity across full-value-stream business cycles including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Plan-to-Produce (P2P), and Warehouse Management / Quality Operations.

  • Matrixed Influence & Leadership: Demonstrates an assertive ability to rally, align, and extract elite performance from highly matrixed, cross-functional engineering and operational teams without possessing formal direct hierarchical authority.

  • Crisis Resilience & High Agility: Proven capacity to navigate high-ambiguity project variables, absorb intense deployment pressures safely, and execute balanced, rapid, data-backed decisions during time-critical system go-live constraints.

  • Strategic Communication Profile: Exceptional command of written and verbal interaction paradigms. Easily capable of decomposing highly abstract, technical PROJECT EQUIP (ERP) configuration issues into clear, value-centric risk evaluations for senior site executives and plant general managers.

The role

As a Global Business Owner, you take end-to-end ownership of one of Ambu’s core business processes (e.g., Plan-to-Produce, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, or Idea-to-Patient). You define the process vision, set direction, and ensure alignment across functions, regions, and systems.

You will drive continuous improvement and ensure that processes are scalable, standardised, and aligned with business strategy. As part of a larger transformation program, you will act as Business Workstream Lead, working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical workstream leads, and key stakeholders—both internal and external—to ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities, and to drive successful end-to-end implementation and adoption.

This is a high-impact role operating at the intersection of business and transformation, where strategic ownership meets execution.
