Ambu is transforming and currently looking for a Global Process Owner – and this is your opportunity to drive that transformation at scale.

 

We are strengthening our global process governance and are building a Global Process Owner (GPO) layer across our core end-to-end business processes, spanning the full value chain—from early innovation and planning to delivery, finance, and compliance.

 

As part of this transformation, we are maturing our global processes, governance structures, and operating model to support continued growth and scalability.

 

A key element of this journey is the implementation and integration of core enterprise platforms such as ERP, QMS, and PLM, enabling more standardised and connected ways of working across Ambu.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

End to end ownership and decision authority 

  • Owns and governs the Plan-to-Produce (P2P) process (L2) across planning, production execution, quality, reporting and period end as well as monitoring activities 
  • Takes global design and trade off decisions impacting cost, service level, compliance, capacity and production feasibility. 
  • Accountable for global process performance and design, compliance, and continuous improvement across sites and geographies. 

Systems ownership

  • Owns systems such as ERP, planning systems (APS), MES 
  • Relevant system landscape exposure  

 

Global Process Owner (GPO) – P2P Planning 

  • Planning end-to-end ownership and decision authority 
  • Owns and governs the L2 P2P planning process for global supply and demand
  • Takes global design and trade off decisions impacting cost, capacity, service level, compliance, and production feasibility
  • Accountable for global process performance and design, compliance, and continuous improvement across sites within planning including work instructions, testing, training in collaboration with users 

 

Suggested candidate profile

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

  • Professional experience of 12+ years directing global supply chain planning or manufacturing operations management frameworks. Must demonstrate a minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations leading a regional or global ERP/core workstream layer (such as SAP S/4HANA or equivalent tier-1 solution).

 

  • MedTech Core Domain Context: Proven background inside a strictly regulated Life Sciences, Bio-Pharma, or Medical Device ecosystem, navigating the specific requirements of multi-site validation testing.

 

  • Technical Ecosystem Architecture: Advanced knowledge encompassing Production Planning (PP) frameworks, capacity leveling tools, dynamic Master Data management (BOM/Routing structures), and Advanced Planning/IBP engines. Additional exposure to modern Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and plant-floor automation interfaces is highly valued.

 

  • Academic & Professional Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Engineering, Management Information Systems, or aligned core track. Active APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma credentials are heavily prioritized.

    • Cross-Functional Integration Mindset: Ability to interact fluidly across various organizational tiers-translating corporate digital strategy to shop-floor technical reality and regulatory policy into automated validation steps.

 

    • Stakeholder Negotiation & Governance: Strong leadership presence with the capacity to navigate and balance local facility requests against strict corporate global templating standards.

 

    • Data-Driven Strategic Vision: Forward-thinking approach prioritizing the minimization of data latency, end-to-end inventory tracking transparency, and optimization of asset utilization patterns.
