Finance Officer

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Perform day-to-day AP transactions and file all documents in proper manner. 
  • Perform monthly Statement of Account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in monthly and yearly account closing activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and data integrity of all financial data.
  • Proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and liaise with auditors, and other relevant professionals and authorities.
  • To perform any other duties & responsibilities as and when necessary.   

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least a Diploma, Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. 
  • Good accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in Account Payable.
  • Strong analytical skills, attentive, responsible and have passion for improvement.
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Computer literate - strong in Microsoft Excel.
