Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet all local and corporate KPI targets.
  • Implement energy efficient and cost saving activities, including the preparation and execution of facilities equipment validation.
  • To ensure that plant and facilities equipment are well-maintained and operate with minimal production interruptions caused by equipment failures.
  • Implement procedures, maintenance plans and regular checks for the building and facilities equipment. 

  • Manage a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating facility repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

  • Monitor the utilization/consumption of utilities to ensure sufficient installed capacity and optimal operation.
  • Monitor the BMS system and ensure that equipment operates according to specifications, such as temperature and pressure differential, etc.
  • Ensure building/facilities fulfil requirements of local safety, environment and regulatory inspection e.g. DOSH, DOE, ST/EC, MBPP. 
  • Participate in validation processes and ensure accurate documentation of quality records to comply with FDA and ISO standards, while also supporting internal and external audits.
  • Any of the ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.                            
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Facilities is required for this position.
  • Familiarity with and experience in cleanroom, HVAC, BMS, and CDA systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
