Ambu Global Hub is looking for a Data Engineer. This data and analytic team is working in a global environment. By joining this team, you will be part of the large global IT team. 

 

Role Responsibilities: 

As a Data Systems Specialist / Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:-

 

1.    Data Warehousing:

  • Managing and maintaining the data warehouse to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Implementing data warehousing concepts and architecture, such as Ralph Kimball methodologies.
  • Integrating data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across systems.
  • Developing and maintaining data integration processes to support business operations.

2.    ETL Development:

  • Building and maintaining dynamic and complex ETL processes.
  • Extracting, transforming, and loading data into the data warehouse.

3.    Data Modelling and Design:

  • Designing and creating data models that facilitate efficient querying and reporting.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

4.    Performance Tuning and Optimization:

  • Ensuring data systems perform efficiently.
  • Monitoring query performance.
  • Fine-tuning data retrieval processes.

5.    Data Governance and Security:

  • Implementing data governance policies and ensuring data security.
  • Implementing access controls.
  • Managing data lineage and compliance.

6.    Report and Dashboard Development:

  • Ability to understand or create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users.
  • Empowering business users with self-service reporting.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 3 years solid in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence Development (Must).
  • At least 3 year(s) of experience with SQL, Data Integration, Implementing Data Quality Checks and Data Modelling (Must).
  • Proficiency in MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory, SQL, MS SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Data Integration Tools (Must).
  • Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, Qlik, Tableau, C, C++, C#, Python, or R (Beneficial).
  • Solid understanding of Ralph Kimball methodologies (Must).
  • Experience with ETL development, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing (Must).
  • Ability to analyse complex, large data sets, data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques for a global organization (Must).
  • Fluent in English (Must).
  • Certificates from Microsoft in Azure Data Platform, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Database, ETL Tools, and SQL Server/Cloud Services (Preferred).
  • Self-starter, principled, and driven to do the right thing for the organization (Preferred).

 

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. 
  • Knowledge of Medical industries or Medical Manufacturing business domains.
