Role summary
The purpose of this role is to achieve sales growth and profit targets in accordance with the ST ESL Nordic strategic plan working in close collaboration with the Nordic Sales Director. The role requires strong technical, strategic and sales leadership skills, combined with the ability to deliver results through an inspired and motivated team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Regional sales manager, Norway and Denmark
In this role, you will be responsible for leading regional commercial execution while supporting and developing the sales organization. The position requires strong in‑field presence, close cross‑functional collaboration, and a structured approach to planning, forecasting and delivering measurable results across the region. Expected 60% of the time spent.
- High in-field activity, mentoring, coaching and supporting Territory Managers
- Responsibility for developing and executing the regional sales plan (budget)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Deliver measurable regional objectives
- Ensure pricing, agreements and contracts are managed and maintained across the team
- Support the professional development of all team members
- Ensure the team remains focused on their business plans and collaborates effectively with all Ambu teams
- Work closely with Product Management, HEMA and the Sales Director to drive sales and marketing in the region
- Attend regional and national conferences, events and workshops
- Travel across the Nordic region as required
Endointelligence role
In this role, you are responsible for driving strategic and commercial success across the Nordic region by elevating Ambu’s EndoIntelligence platform and single-use endoscopy portfolio. You will lead high‑level customer engagement, position Ambu as an innovation partner, and ensure strong internal competence building to accelerate adoption and long-term growth. Expected 40% of the time spent.
- Drive business growth for EndoIntelligence and single-use endoscopy solutions across the Nordic markets.
- Engage in high-level, strategic discussions with customers on topics such as financial analysis, environmental impact, workflow optimization, and future business models.
- Position Ambu as a thought leader in digital and integrated endoscopy ecosystems.
- Build strong and influential relationships with decision-makers in Medical Technical Departments, IT, procurement, and clinical leadership.
- Represent Ambu in strategic meetings, congresses, and industry events to reinforce market presence.
- Support onboarding and integration of new accounts, ensuring a seamless and efficient implementation process.
- Act as a role model for consultative, solution-based selling with a strong value-creation mindset.
- Provide Territory Managers with expert guidance to accelerate adoption and strengthen commercial execution.
- Develop tailored proposals, business cases, and value-based selling strategies for key accounts.
- Contribute to shaping future business models, pricing frameworks, and sustainability-driven initiatives tied to Ambu’s digital strategy.
- Educate and upskill the Nordic sales team and internal stakeholders on the strategic importance of EndoIntelligence and integrated digital workflows.
- Share best practices and serve as a knowledge hub for digital solutions across the organization.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10 years in the medical technology industry
- Strong expertise in endoscopy and digital solutions
- Proven track record in leading people, business development and solution‑based sales
- Experience working within the Nordic endoscopy market
Language Skills
- Fluent in English and Danish
- Understanding of Norwegian and Swedish (advantage)
Technical & IT Competence
- Strong technical understanding and IT skills
- Experience with integration to hospital systems
