Objective:

To ensure that the Maintenance Organization has the inventory of parts organized and present as specified, document preventive and acute maintenance that has been completed and support the maintenance team.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for ensuring team members follow the maintenance schedule for adjustment, cleaning and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, installations and facility.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, installations and facility.
  • Responsible for the acute maintenance or replacement of parts in the equipment, machinery, installations and facility as needed.
  • Responsible to support operators, process techs and leadership when problems occur in the equipment, machinery, installations and facility.
  • Responsible to do lock out / tag outs when working on the machines.
  • Ensures team members use all required safety gear when working on the machines, equipment, installations or facility.
  • Responsible to independently maintain all equipment, machinery, installations and facility.
  • Capable to work with engineering to acquire new equipment.
  • Capable to support engineering in validations.
  • Responsible to evaluate if maintenance has an impact on the validated equipment, machinery or installations.
  • Stops machines if quality of products is not as specified.
  • Stops machines if scrap rates are too high.
  • Stops machines if safety is not adequate.
  • Replaces parts on machinery if needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working in a maintenance department preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
