Your base will be at one of our Innovation sites, either at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, Innovation Centre in Augsburg, Germany, or Innovation Site in Penang, Malaysia.
We have two positions to fill:
- Manager, Manufacturing Integration and Lifecycle Management, Respiratory & ENT Solutions
- Manager, Manufacturing Integration and Lifecycle Management, Urology & GI Solutions
Key responsibilities:
As a Manager for Manufacturing Integration and Lifecycle Management in the R&D Solution area, you will:
- Lead a global team across sites in Europe and Malaysia, consisting of
- Project Managers based in Penang, Malaysia, driving solution integration in new product development projects, including process development and implementation of first production lines
- Product owners and Design owners being responsible for Lifecycle management of our marketed products, based in Europe,
- Ensure effective planning, coordination, and support for team members in their project-related tasks within manufacturing integration in new product development and lifecycle management.
- Foster a safe and inclusive work environment, with respect for different cultures
- Maintain close collaboration with globally based stakeholders to align on resources, timelines, budgets, and strategies
- Be part of the Solutions Team, sharing and supporting best practices and lessons learned
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. We are imaging that you as a person possess strong leadership skills and are curious, open-minded, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
You are, however, likely to succeed in this position if you:
- Hold a degree in engineering and have technical work experience to support decision-making and challenges during project execution
- Have several years of experience in medical device project management, development or maintenance and come with a people management skillset and toolbox
- Are familiar with an international working environment, managing globally based project teams and suppliers
- Are committed, structured, and have a strong sense of responsibility towards your work and team members
- Are willing to travel up to 20 days per year
It is a requirement that you are fluent in oral and written English.
