We are currently looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive the commercial development of our Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring Commercial, you will play a central role in maximizing the potential of Ambu’s Anaesthesia portfolio. The role focuses on downstream marketing, lifecycle management, and commercial strategy, working closely with sales organizations, R&D, and key clinical stakeholders worldwide.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will help shape the future of the portfolio and ensure our products continue to create value for clinicians and patients globally. This role is based in our headquarters in Ballerup.
Responsibilities
Downstream strategy & portfolio development
- Define and drive the downstream initiative agenda for Anesthesia with a 12–18 month horizon
- Identify needs together with key customers, sales organizations, and R&D
- Build business cases, develop value propositions, and support pricing strategy
Product development
- Drive the commercial agenda in upgrade projects from initial scoping and feature specification through product design and launch
- Provide commercial input and stakeholder alignment throughout the development process
Commercial enablement
- Optimize sales of existing products by developing and improving training materials and sales tools
- Develop commercial sales tools and documentation, including claims tables, photos, and training videos
- Develop sales tools and scope studies together with HEMA and clinical, including sustainability themes where relevant
Launch & market engagement
- Prepare and execute product launches
- Maintain industry knowledge through participation in key congresses
- Support global sales organizations through communication, knowledge sharing, and best practice exchange
What we are looking for
Skills and experience can be developed in many ways, and we recognize that the best candidates may come from different backgrounds. You are, however, likely to succeed in this role if you:
- Bring relevant experience in product management within the MedTech industry
- Have worked with medical device development and commercialization, including lifecycle management and launch processes
- Are comfortable navigating global organizations and collaborating across multiple functions and regions
- Bring a strong product management toolbox, including business cases, value propositions, and pricing strategy
- Have experience contributing commercial insights throughout product development stage-gate processes
- Possess strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with anaesthesia or airway-related medical devices is a strong advantage.
