A role where design supports commercial goals
As our Global Creative Designer, you will create and produce high-quality creative materials that support Ambu’s global product portfolio and commercial agenda, translating commercial objectives into clear creative solutions and design choices.
Your tasks will span digital and offline asset creation for product launches, campaigns, brand assets, and sales materials - from first draft to final delivery.
- You will collaborate closely with the rest of the creative team to ensure brand consistency and strong execution, and that assets are fit for purpose, supporting campaign performance and commercial priorities
- You will work with marketing stakeholders and external partners to adapt and roll out assets across formats and markets.
- Graphic design is the core of the role but developed animation skills, and some video editing skills are preferred in this role.
The team
You’ll be based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, joining the Global Brand & Marketing Communications team, a group of 15 dedicated marketing professionals working to grow Ambu’s brand and support commercial success.
Within this, you’ll be part of the Brand & Marketing Creation team alongside an Art Director, a Global Creative Designer, an Associate Graphic Designer, a Copywriter, and a Brand & Content Manager, reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing Creation.
We collaborate closely with Digital Marketing and Marketing Communications Managers, and we regularly team up with freelancers and our creative production partner.
Are you the new Global Creative Designer we’re looking for?
We imagine you’re an experienced designer with strong visual crafts who enjoys collaborating in a creative team. You can translate briefs and stakeholder input into effective commercial concepts and assets, balancing strong craft with a clear understanding of purpose, audience and desired outcome. We work within established brand guidelines and partnering closely with your creative colleagues to ensure consistency and quality is a given.
You bring a digital-first mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to adapt creatively to different channels and audiences, while keeping a clear overview of feedback, priorities, and deadlines.
Ideally, you:
- Have 5+ years of experience from an agency or an in-house creative/marketing team, with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand and campaign work
- Can design and deliver high-quality digital assets and offline materials (e.g., banners, emails, social content, web content, flyers, brochures etc.) with attention to detail

Are confident driving your own design tasks from brief to final files, exploring concepts, producing layouts, and preparing and executing photoshoots
- Are strong in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), know Figma, and are comfortable producing in PowerPoint.
- Have experience and like to develop animation (and video editing). Experienced in After Effects (Premiere Pro)
- Can collaborate closely with copywriters, marketing colleagues, and external production partners.
- Can handle feedback constructively, find workable compromises when necessary, ensuring clear alignment on scope, timing, and deliverables
- Are organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency
- Are motivated by delivering high-quality creative work and contributing to smooth collaboration, e.g., improving templates, asset libraries, and efficient production workflows
