Reports To: Director of Marketing, Endoscopy Systems & Portfolio Solutions

Location: Hybrid - Columbia, MD

 

Position Summary: Ambu is seeking a dynamic and results-driven market manager to lead downstream marketing for our capital equipment portfolio in North America, including the aView 2 Advance and aBox 2, which form the foundation of the Ambu endoscopy platform. This high-impact role focuses on driving adoption of our display units, associated software, and integration capabilities to support connected workflows across multiple specialties. You will shape how hospitals implement and scale our visualization technology - building brand equity, enabling commercial execution, and supporting strategies that improve efficiency and care delivery. Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies

  • Develop and implement downstream marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and commercial success of the aView 2 Advance and aBox 2 display units within the Ambu endoscopy platform
  • Promote adoption of associated software features and integration capabilities that support connected clinical workflows across multiple specialties
  • Serve as the primary marketing lead, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, corporate accounts, integration services, product management, and finance
  • Shape messaging and positioning to support pricing strategy, hospital procurement, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead the development of marketing communications, sales tools, training resources, and trade show content
  • Monitor product performance, market trends, and integration activity; report on KPIs and business insights to leadership
  • Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to guide marketing strategy and support continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams on the introduction of new features, software updates, and workflow enhancements
  • Support marketing initiatives that align with broader goals in interoperability, connectivity, and sustainability
  • Confidently present strategies and performance updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Excel at building trust and influence across clinical, technical, and commercial functions
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Translate complex topics into compelling, customer-facing content tailored for diverse healthcare audiences
  • Combine analytical thinking with creativity and business acumen to solve problems and drive results
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a hands-on, proactive approach

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of healthcare or medical device marketing experience, with emphasis on equipment and software solutions
  • Demonstrated success driving adoption of display systems or integrated clinical technologies in hospital environments
  • Deep understanding of hospital purchasing dynamics, including capital approval processes, value analysis, and workflow alignment
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and how they influence procurement, integration, and clinical workflows
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales and support teams to influence both clinical users and administrative decision-makers
