Position Summary:

Ambu is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Market Manager to lead the next phase of growth for our Ureteroscopy portfolio within Endourology. With the product launched and gaining traction, this role focuses on accelerating adoption, defending market share, and shaping the transition toward single-use ureteroscopes—a shift that is redefining procedural standards in urology.

You will be responsible for optimizing post-launch performance, refining positioning, and driving market education and engagement. Working cross-functionally with Sales, MarCom, HEOR & Market Access, and executive stakeholders, you’ll lead initiatives that influence clinical behavior, support evidence-based messaging, and ensure strategic alignment across regions.

Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies

  • Lead the strategic downstream marketing plan for Ambu’s launched ureteroscope in a competitive and rapidly evolving market
  • Drive adoption acceleration strategies, including market education, objection handling, and value messaging tailored to the shift toward single-use technology
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance across financials, KPIs, and competitive dynamics
  • Deliver strategic business reviews and insights to Director Marketing and key stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Refine segmentation and targeting strategies based on post-launch data, procedural trends, and customer feedback
  • Identify portfolio gaps and collaborate with Global Product Management to shape future innovation
  • Own brand positioning and ensure consistency across product design, messaging, and events
  • Develop and execute an unified messaging strategy that reflects clinical value, and economic impact benefits of single use ureteroscopy
  • Lead the creation and deployment of targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Guide the development of sales enablement tools tailored to urologists, purchasing, and value analysis teams
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing and positioning
  • Partner with Sales Management to validate and optimize marketing effectiveness through field feedback and performance metrics
  • Support pricing strategy and positioning refinement based on competitive shifts and customer insights
  • Collaborate closely with HEOR & Market Access team to support messaging through clinical and economic evidence generation, ensuring value-based positioning and alignment with reimbursement strategies
  • Engage with KOLs in Endourology to inform strategic direction and support market education efforts
  • Design and deliver education programs for end users and sales team in collaboration with Clinical & Educational Trainer
  • Travel up to 40%

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, ideally in medical devices or healthcare
  • Experience in Endourology or Urology preferred
  • Proven success in post-launch product optimization and market acceleration
  • Experience leading marketing plans and translating into execution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in segmentation, targeting, and performance tracking
  • Track record of successful product launches, campaign development, and brand positioning
  • Experience to collaborate across functions including Sales, Field Marketing, MarCom, HEOR & Market Access
  • Experience in supporting a direct salesforce
  • Comfortable engaging with KOLs and leveraging clinical insights for messaging
  • Ability to manage complex workflows and drive strategic initiatives in a competitive environment
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
