Title: Jr. Sales Operations Analyst

Reports to: Director, Sales Operations

Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid)

Ambu USA is seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Operations team in the role of Jr. Sales Operations Analyst, reporting to the Director of Sales Operations.

 

This role will play a critical role in evaluating, improving, and reporting on the general health of the customer relationship management processes and data. This individual will also manage our sales mileage reimbursement processes and systems, as well as miscellaneous projects as directed by the Director of Sales Operations. The Sales Operations Analyst will be a key member of the team providing support on overall Company and Sales Strategies, Data Management and Analytics, Pipeline Performance Management, and other tasks through the optimization of processes along the customer journey from Lead to Revenue.

 

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in evaluating and optimizing existing processes, solving data challenges, and building best practices and procedures with operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales leadership teams to plan, track, and report on sales data.
  • Develop / maintain reports and dashboards to support sales, financial, and operational KPI reporting.
  • Define, track and report on key metrics that indicate sales effectiveness.
  • Drive Salesforce (SF) and other Sales Tools compliance and data quality, ensuring data accuracy and integrity; support SF user requests.
  • Support information gathering for QBRs and other executive meetings / presentations.
  • Administer our Sales Enablement platform, supporting the Sales Enablement team as they deliver best-in-class sales training.
  • Manage our sales mileage reimbursement programs / systems.
  • Help implement projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes impacting Sales & Sales Operations.
  • Support project rollouts for new tools and process changes to increase the efficiency of our Sales organization.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions while applying appropriate methodology, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques in projects.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's (preferred) degree in an analytics-heavy field such as Business Analytics, Actuarial or Data Sciences, Economics, or any other business major.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with Office 365, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookup, and formulas).
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to generate reports and dashboards, transforming data into visualizations, tables, and charts.
  • Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and/or database systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively.
  • Experience supporting sales tools/platforms a plus.
