Position Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding Ambu’s footprint in the healthcare market, particularly in the Patient Monitoring Solutions. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building relationships and delivering value to customers.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle within an assigned territory, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing deals and nurturing long-term customer relationships. This is a hybrid role based in Columbia, MD, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate closely with field sales, marketing, and product teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution & Growth

    • Drive sales of Ambu’s medical device - patient monitoring portfolio through proactive outreach to existing accounts and new prospects.
    • Identify and develop strategic opportunities within key accounts to expand product adoption.
    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement

    • Build trust-based relationships with medical executives, clinicians, and procurement teams.
    • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and consultative sales conversations tailored to customer needs.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of customer profiles, buying behaviors, and decision-making processes.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting

    • Manage the front end of the sales cycle including lead qualification, pipeline development, and accurate forecasting.
    • Utilize CRM tools to track opportunities, set follow-ups, and maintain detailed records of interactions and outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Strategy

    • Partner with field sales teams to align on territory strategy and ensure seamless customer coverage.
    • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives including marketing campaigns, product launches, and training events.
  • Reporting & Communication

    • Provide monthly activity reports outlining sales plans, insights, goals, and action items.
    • Attend company meetings, trade shows, and training sessions as required.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of inside sales or related experience, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with executive presence.
  • College Degree - Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Google Workspace a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
