Title: HR Business Partner, Corporate Functions

Reports to: Senior Director Human Resources US and Canada

Location: Columbia, MD (hybrid 3x/week onsite)

 

Position Summary:

High performing HR Business Partner who is ready for the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the performance of our Corporate Functions by immersing into our business and our talent and helping to drive performance and results. This role will be the primary partner to our US Marketing and Enabling teams (Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance).

 

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Senior Director of HR, the HRBP will drive the implementation and execution of all talent strategies for assigned client areas
  • Consult, advise, coach and partner with assigned client areas on people and organizational needs ensuring alignment of HR objectives and initiatives and enabling continued high performance 
  • Partner with leaders to support organizational design, team effectiveness, and change management efforts
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent and performance management
  • Progressive track record of the application of broad knowledge of HR practices and policies
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Collaborate with key partners on the HR team to drive talent acquisition, engagement, and annual processes
  • Work well under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines, deliver projects to completion, manage results
  • Ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, investigations, and resolution strategies in alignment with company policies and legal compliance
  • Other duties and Special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications / Education:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of HR Business Partnering experience supporting a Commercial organization
  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and finding creative and compliant solutions to business needs
  • Highly proactive problem solver who demonstrates initiative and a willingness to contribute where needed
  • Strong organizational, detail, and prioritization skills
  • Previous experience with SuccessFactors is a plus
