A global job position with an impact
The objective of this position is to secure leadership of all activities in manufacturing for maintenance. This includes ensuring that planned PMs are completed on time to avoid downtime. Furthermore, this position is to ensure that all equipment in production area is working accordingly, to solve function and maintenance issues at a high standard.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Leading all maintenance employees on each shift.
• Ensure the right decisions are always made on each shift.
• Responsible for ensuring team members follow the maintenance schedule for    
  adjustment, cleaning and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and   
  installation.
• Ensure communication between shifts.
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Responsible for the acute maintenance or replacements of parts in the equipment,
  machinery, as needed.
• Responsible to support production, process techs and leadership when problems occur in  
  the equipment, machinery.
• Capable to work with engineering to acquire new equipment and support engineering in 
  validations.
• Responsible to evaluate if maintenance has an impact on the validated equipment,   
  machinery, or installations.
• Maintains product quality by enforcing organizational standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on 
  the use of equipment and resources.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable personnel policies.
• Ensures that personnel are always wearing proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Ensures team members use all required safety gear when working on the machines, 
   equipment.
• Foster an environment of open communication with all employees.
• Responsible for addressing employee concerns, escalating concerns to the proper 
  personnel when necessary and following up with employees during this process.
• Ensure that time and attendance occurrences are accurately recorded on the employee's    
  timecards.
• Review/correct employee timecards to ensure time is accurately recorded.
• Complete a weekly final review and approval of employee timecards.

Authority:
• Stops machines if quality of products is not as specified.
• Stops machines if scrap rates are too high.
• Stops machines if safety is not adequate.
• Discipline and terminate employees in accordance with company policy and involvement   
  from the next level up of leadership.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Five years' experience in maintenance.
• Two years' experience working in the medical device field (desirable).
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coordinate several task/projects at the same time.
• Excellent leadership skills.

Performance Criteria:
• Maintenance KPI according with those defined by Management.

Work Environment:

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
