A global job position with an impact to provide operational HR support during the 3rd shift, ensuring proper execution of employee relations processes, labor compliance, personnel administration, and supervision of employee services.
This role ensures continuity of People & Culture practices during off-hours, mitigates labor risks, supports supervisors in disciplinary processes, and safeguards compliance with Mexican labor regulations and internal policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary HR contact for the 3rd shift, managing employee relations matters in a fair and timely manner.
• Support supervisors in disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and documentation.
• Ensure consistent application of internal policies, Code of Conduct, and labor regulations (LFT, NOMs, STPS, IMSS).
• Prepare and document administrative records including warnings, terminations, and corrective actions.
• Execute authorized personnel movements in HRIS (TRESS), including hires and terminations.
• Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and disciplinary trends for the shift and report findings.
• Supervise employee services during the shift (cafeteria, transportation, and other assigned services).
• Conduct operational audits of service providers and follow up on corrective actions.
• Identify workplace climate risks and escalate sensitive or high-impact matters to the HR Manager.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and compliant work environment aligned with company values.
• Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Authorities:
• Recommend corrective or disciplinary actions aligned with company policy and labor law.
• Execute personnel transactions in HRIS (TRESS) as authorized.
• Escalate labor or compliance risks to HR leadership.
• Document service provider non-conformities and request corrective actions.
Professional and Personal Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Employee Relations or HR Generalist roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law (LFT), STPS regulations, NOMs, and IMSS requirements.
• Experience handling disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
• Experience supervising employee services providers (preferred).
• Experience with HRIS systems (TRESS preferred).
• English language proficiency: medium level (preferred).
Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing facility operating 24/7. The position requires on-site presence during the 3rd shift. Employees may be exposed to noise, machinery, or other workplace conditions controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
The role requires autonomous decision-making during night operations with limited administrative supervision.
