Facilities Engineer

Required skills /Abilities:
 
•    Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
•    Five years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
•    Knowledge related to clean room.
•    Understand the Quality philosophy based on FDA requirements.
•    PMs management and repairing building, such: HVAC systems, compressed air system, 
     utility systems, electrical, water and gas services, etc. 
•    Coordinate and oversees contractor activities services.
•    Energy saving management.
•    Writes, develops, and implements documentation such: PMs routines, internal 
      procedures, etc. 
•    Supervises and lead technicians engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing 
     mechanical equipment.
•    Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
•    Requisitions spare parts, tools, equipment, etc.
•    Provides technical training to management and other team members.
•    Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering 
      consultants.
•    Performs other related duties as assigned.
•    Perform root cause investigations for the NCR or CAPA processes.


Authority:


•    Select, hire, supervise, discipline and terminate Facilities Technicians reporting to him/her.
•    Call, instruct and/or request meetings, changes and updates to any Construction 
     company.
•    Purchase indirect material for production and spare parts and or material for the 
     maintenance of the building.

 

    Performance Criteria:

 

•    Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering.
•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

 
Work Environment:
 
This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
