We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico! In the job as Facilities Engineer Jr, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Basic knowledge related to clean room.
• Understand the Quality philosophy based on FDA requirements.
• Oversees repairing building, such: HVAC systems, compressed air system, utility systems, electrical, water and gas services, etc. 
• Knowledge about safety LOTO procedure.
• Writes, develops, and implements documentation such: PMs routines, internal procedures, etc. 
• Oversees technicians engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Requisitions spare parts, tools, equipment, etc.
• Oversees work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Basic knowledge of NCR or CAPA processes.
• Basic Knowledge of invest technics. (Five way's, Ishikawa, 6m's, etc.).
• Capacity for read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams.


Authority:


• Report unsafe facilities, damage or vandalism to building equipment to your immediate boss.
• Report any indiscipline to your immediate boss.
• Request indirect material for production and spare parts and or material for the maintenance of the building.
• Request the participation of key personnel in EHS-related training, meetings, or campaigns.


Qualifications / Education:


• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 1 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
• Additional language English, basic level.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software. 
• Basic knowledge of auto cad software.

Work Environment:  

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
