To provide engineering support for translation, testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure
compliance to reduce the launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such are: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the
following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advice on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local
and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Authorities:
• Reject change orders through the design change system.
Education and Experience:
• An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position
responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
• English language medium to advance.
Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
