We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico! In the job as Engineer Technician, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.


Objective:


The Engineer Technician is responsible for providing engineering support for translate, testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.
 
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:


• Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure  
  compliance to reduce the launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such are: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the 
  following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local   
  and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
 
Qualifications / Education:


•An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or   
 equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position    responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
• English language medium to advance.

Work Environment: 

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
