Join us for this unique hybrid role from our Cambridge offices, where you will be involved in generating health economic evidence and tools to support Ambu's sales organisation and identifying cost efficiencies across the product portfolios.

Right now, you have a unique possibility to join as a Health Economics & Market Access Specialist. You will report to the Senior Health Economics & Market Access Specialist within the Marketing Division. Key aspects of the position will be to design and oversee health economic studies and to use that data to develop cost effectiveness models, sales supporting materials and tools, such as budget impact models.

 

As a Health Economics & Market Access Specialist your responsibilities will include

 

  • Generating health economic evidence for our products, including cost-comparison studies and cost-effectiveness analyses
  • Developing health economic sales support tools for hospital stakeholders
  • Designing studies to generate needed data to support reimbursement/coding efforts
  • Supporting the sales organization by conducting budget impact models for large accounts in both public and private sectors
  • Communicating health economic results with internal and external customers in order to manage business relationships with all Stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Designing and developing education and training to sales team on health economics and how to best communicate health economic studies and results
  • Working with external societies to communicate results and influence decision making to favour use of disposable products
  • Developing health economic data to support the desired product positioning
  • Assisting the Clinical Marketing Specialists in carrying out the health economic side of clinical studies
  • In collaboration with the Product Managers, researching new markets, reimbursement levels and economic drivers
  • Assisting Product Managers with any health economic resources or questions around costs involving our products
  • Representing the UK at international events/meetings
  • Recommending and administering policies and procedures to enhance operations.

 

Your background

 

To be successful you will have ideally a Master’s Degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, Market Access or related branch of study. You have a good knowledge of the NHS with ideally experience within medical devices/tech. You are familiar with relevant guidelines and policies in the medical environment.

 

You have the ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.  You are a self-starter, outgoing and able to engage with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  

 

You are well known to be efficient, with good collaboration skills and openness. You are results orientated with a commitment to a consultative approach to decision-making. You must be computer literate and be fluent in English both written and spoken.

 

 

You will require minimum supervision, while working in a small team environment. A fast learner, flexible towards change, you are a highly effective communicator as you will build internal and external relationships across the business with a high level of integrity.
