Are you a strategic Web & UX performance specialist who excels at leveraging data to shape impactful user journeys?
Do you enjoy using digital insights to optimize navigation, improve customer pathways, and drive conversions? Then this might be your next great opportunity!

We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Web Optimization Manager to take ownership of Ambu’s global websites and deliver measurable impact

A role with global impact

As our Web Optimization Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Ambu’s digital transformation toward more insight‑driven, digitally fluent, and customer‑centric marketing. You’ll play a key role in taking Ambu’s global websites to the next level through website improvement projects, structural enhancements, and continuous optimization — ensuring our public websites are strategically structured, user-friendly, and built for high performance. Based at our headquarters in Ballerup, you’ll join the Digital Marketing Team within Global Brand & Marketing Communication, collaborating with colleagues across HQ and international markets.

With an analytical mindset and customer-focused approach, you’ll translate performance data into actionable insights—uncovering opportunities, testing improvements, and refining navigation and content structure to maximize outcomes. Your work will help shape a clear website vision—one that’s intuitive, customer-centric, and designed for measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of Ambu’s global websites, ensuring they are strategically structured, user-friendly, and conversion-oriented.

  • Drive website development and optimization projects, supporting Ambu’s ambition to elevate its global digital presence

  • Use data and analytics (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, Tag Manager, Hotjar) to understand visitor behavior, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into concrete UX, CRO, and content optimization initiatives

  • Optimize overall website architecture, navigation, and user journeys to create clear, user-centered and business-driven pathways for diverse audiences

  • Plan and execute A/B tests and iterative experiments to validate improvements and maximize performance

  • Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing, Brand, and MarCom teams to ensure UX and performance initiatives align with strategic priorities and support global consistency

  • Set and maintain best practices, ensuring compliance and strong governance through guidelines, training, and ongoing support to local marketing teams

You bring:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end ownership of high-quality global websites within a HQ setting, optimizing user experience and conversion rates within defined frameworks

  • Strong understanding of complex digital B2B customer journeys and strategies for improving performance

  • An analytical mindset and a business-oriented, customer-centric approach to website optimization, with the ability to extract, interpret, and make data driven recommendations using tools such as GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, SEMrush, Hotjar, and A/B split testing tools

  • Practical, hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Dynamic Web 9 is a plus)

  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset that thrives in a developing, fast‑moving environment where not everything is defined yet.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or a related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in website UX
