Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Warehousing Specialist to be based in our HQ in Ballerup.
Are you motivated by delivering reliable daily operations while continuously improving processes? Do you want to make a difference to patients around Europe by securing efficient delivery of orders in our distribution setup?
You will be part of the Global Distribution team under Global Supply Chain. In this role, you will focus on daily operational execution, process optimization and ensuring stability and consistency through. You will report to the Head of Distribution and work closely with our European 3PL partners, internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, and IT teams.
This position offers an opportunity to develop deep expertise in warehousing and distribution processes, ERP systems, and EDI integrations, while contributing to Ambu’s growth journey.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Daily coordination with 3PL warehouse on operations and priorities, whilst ensuring best-practice and compliance in operations
- Handle operational issues at our European 3PL’s
- Support optimization initiatives in distribution processes and drive operational implementation of new projects
- Manage daily processes in M3 (our ERP system) and use your knowledge to streamline Distribution processes, supporting your own team and local teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:
- Solid experience in warehousing and distribution operations, preferably with 3PL setups
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Infor M3 experience is an advantage) and a strong technical and analytical mindset
- Experience from a global manufacturing or regulated environment is a plus
- Ability to execute operational tasks with a systematic and detail-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward optimization
- Good stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a global context
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
