Key responsibilities 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading all technical building installations and related automation objects to ensure successful delivery of all building technology services as building management systems, fire alarms, ventilation systems 

You will collaborate closely with the rest of the Facility Management cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and play a hands-on role in the design, development, and execution of internal projects. 

The ideal candidate will be part of a great team supporting all kinds of FM services at Ambu, from reception, kitchen, canteen, building services, and environmental, health and safety. The team is part of the Global Facility Services and has related lines to our FM colleagues in Asia and North Americas. 

Ambu has planned to expand the campus in Ballerup, and the position will be heavily involved in decisions and validation of the new building and related technology. The project will take place from 2026-2028, phased in two programs. 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead and develop building technology and BMS (building management system), automatic fire alarms and ventilation systems  

  • Lead building maintenance, changes and smaller projects, such as design changes across meeting rooms and offices  

  • Lead building service plans and own the communication with relevant suppliers 

  • Lead the fire inspections from DBI (Danish Fire Institute) and Beredskab Øst 

  • Lead video surveillance and burglar alarm systems 

  • Participate in Facility Team tasks, e.g. as internal re-locations, etc 

 

Suggested candidate profile 

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you: 

  • Have a background as electrician, maintenance engineering or similar – most importantly is your drive, and experience in the above listed qualifications 

  • Carry a strong track record within building maintenance and services 

  • Have a deep understanding of the Danish regulations (AB18 and related work environment regulations, such as the Working Environment Act.  

  • Are energetic, team-oriented, take charge and have a positive attitude
